Second day of the new Sunday-Monday operation of vintage streetcars on The Embarcadero between
Ferry Plaza and Pier 39. Today's vehicle was Melbourne car 496. Besides photos of the 496,
I also caught Blackpool "boat" car 233 testing its rebuild; it's expected to be available in
a few weeks for regular service. PCC cars are also included.
I boarded an AC Transit MCI D45 CRT LE coach to Berkeley and did some photos on Shattuck Ave. outside the BART station.
