A big day in two counties. I started with San Jose, where special wrapped Gillig 6417 honoring
Latino culture was operating in service on the 66 line. Over the windows the bus reads "Celebrando Cultura y Tradiciones"
on the streetside and "Celebrating Culture and Tradition" on the curbside. Got photos in multiple locations
in Milpitas and San Jose of both sides of the coach. Gillig 6402, speaking out against human trafficking,
was also on the 66 for me to take pictures in one location. Assorted other VTA buses are represented as well.
Next I drove up to Menlo Park via Palo Alto and stopped at Willow Rd. between Newbridge St. and US 101.
Got shots of Dumbarton Express Gillig LFs, two AC Transit MCI two door coaches, some SamTrans buses on
the 296, and a SamTrans Ride Plus van. On Bay Rd. I snapped pics of the fronts of school buses, two of
them Palo Alto electrics.
Stopped by Mountain View for the Community Shuttle, then ended up in Sunnyvale for some 55 and 56 action,
including new Gillig 3408.
