The annual Municipal Railway Heritage Weekend's second and last day.
This time I boarded Blackpool boat car 228 for the trip up to the Railway Museum. Plenty of photos
on the trip, including passing LRVs and trolley coaches.
I then boarded Holman 1 to go to Pier 39. Walked back to favorite corner Embarcadero, Kearny, and North Point
for streetcar action (and Orion 8501 on route 39).
Rode the 596 back to Don Chee Way. Went out on ETI 5538 to Van Ness and back, then White 042 to Caltrain
and Mack 2230 return.
It was about time for the streetcars to start pulling in. I boarded the first, Milan 1815 for a ride to
Market and 17th. Then I took Brussels 732 to San Jose and Ocean Ave. Got photos of it, car 1, car 233,
and car 228 along San Jose Ave. to end the heritage part of the day.
I had seen double end PCC 1008 in service. Not having noticed it out before, I drove up to Jones St. and
took pictures in the curve as it left the terminal.
