The last September 2024 mystery trip begins in San Francisco, where I photographed
battery electric buses: Muni BYD 5004 and New Flyer 5002, both on 9 San Bruno at the
outer end by Bayshore and Visitacion.
Then I drove north to Petaluma to do laundry. Behind the building is the
SMART train right of way, so there were photos of two trains.
I went looking around Petaluma to find the new on demand service lumaGo. Found a cutaway
entered Downtown Petaluma SMART station. After waiting a while, I saw the operator walk away
from the bus. Took advantage with a few photos of the parked vehicle.
Unsuccessful in finding county Orion V 340, which was operating routes that weren't apparently
originally scheduled according to Pantograph. But I did get Santa Rosa CityBus Proterra 24200
on two routes.
The meal, a BLT, was at Pete's Henny Penny, a great Petaluma restaurant.
