Drove up to Millbrae Station and took Caltrain to San Francisco, getting an N Judah train
to Powell St. Did a few cable cars, but didn't stick around very long. Rode an F streetcar
down to Main/Drumm Sts. There I was more productive, encountering California cable car 55 in its
1950s Muni livery, as well as a variety of streetcars.
Saw in Facebook that AC Transit decorated Gillig 1682 for the 30th Dia De Los Muertos Festival to be held
at Fruitvale Village on November 2nd by The Unity Council. Took BART to Fruitvale Station and spent an hour and
a half in wait. I got pictures of both sides of the coach, operating route 31 from Chabot Space & Science Center
to Bay Farm Island. In the time between the photos of each side, I walked the short distance to International
Blvd. and the Tempo bus line for photos in traffic. An unusual school bus visited the area, operated by
Zum Services Inc., a Ride Achiever-Type A battery electric bus. Took photos of both sides, on 35th Ave. and then on 12th St.
Rode BART back to Millbrae to pick up the car. I did take a few shots of BART and Caltrain consists.
