Decided on a mystery trip into Santa Cruz. Began by getting a Highway 17 Express bus passing the old Summit
Roadhouse, then visited the temporary transit center surrounding Riverwalk Plaza (River St., Soquel Ave., and Front St.).
Went to Soquel Ave. at Morrissey Blvd. and then at Hagemann Ave. for routes 1, 2, 3A, and 3B.
Next was Bay and National Sts. for the 19 bus. Then Mission St. and Van Ness Ave. for the 16 and 18 lines.
And got an 11 bus at Storey St. and Escalona Dr.
Next went to visit Twin Lakes State Beach to get pictures of the 3A bus on E. Cliff Dr. Couple of shots
at Capitola Mall.
Went back to San Jose to attend the Santa Clara VTA Strategic Plan Open House at Roosevelt Community Center
off Santa Clara St. Visited each table to have my event passport signed, then dropped it off in the contest
entry box. Brought out a swag bag of VTA branded goodies. And I talked with the folks at each table about
transit stuff and learned some new things. Outside was Gillig 3460 on exhibition, and I got pictures before
and after the event.
