GMC 138:

GMC 182:

Houtran GMC 182 at Milby Garage on October 28, 1979. The lack of maintenance on the Houston bus system was illustrated by this Houston Chronicle photo by E. Joseph Deering. Added 05/22/19.

GMC 272:

Former Houston METRO GMC 272 appears to be in the Chicago area, based on the CTA logo on the next bus. Steve Hoskins slide dated June 7, 1987 added 05/22/19.

GMC 485:

Houtran GMC 485 on the 48 Navigation outbound at Navigation Blvd. and 69th St. in August 1979. The Rex Supply Corp. seen here later moved to Kirby Dr.; this is now the site of fire station no. 20. In the background is Jim Dandy Chicken, who had the rights to the Church's Chicken name, and the latter logo was designed with the signature lower case "d" of the former.
