Car 228 had just completed a ceremonial run from Don Chee Way to celebrate the beginning of a car-free Market Street (Van Ness
Ave. to Steuart St.). It continued to the 17th St. terminal after dropping off city officials at Fifth St. I walked around the
corner past the Twin Peaks bar to see 228 laying over there, and of course I took a ride to Pier 39.
