ABOUT CAR 1050:
Originally Philadelphia Transportation Co. number 2119, the car was sold by SEPTA to Muni. 1050 was originally
decorated in Muni Wings tribute livery. When the car was returned from Brookville rehabilitation in 2016,
it wore a tribute to St. Louis Public Service Co. livery.

PHOTOS TAKEN AUGUST 27, 1995:
PCC 1050 was part of a three car charter held August 27, 1995, just before the opening of the F Market line.
While cars 1 and 130 went to 17th and Castro Sts. via San Jose Ave. and Church St., 1050 took Ocean Ave. to
Junipero Serra Blvd. to West Portal Ave., entering the Twin Peaks Tunnel. A brief stop was made at West Portal Station for
photos, then the car continued through the tunnel to the Collingwood exit ramp to join the other streetcars
at Castro. I have to find the negatives for remastered scans at high resolution, but here are two 600x400 images
